ActioNet is seeking a API Developer – III for an immediate, a REMOTE opportunity with occasional travel (10%) to the Washington, D.C. area. This role requires U.S. citizenship to be eligible for federal government security clearance.

We are seeking a highly experienced API Developer III (Senior Level) to lead the design and development of sophisticated integrations. With over 8 years of expertise, you will be responsible for optimizing API performance, scalability, and security while ensuring compliance with data privacy standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead API design and development efforts for complex integrations.
Optimize API performance and scalability.
Ensure API security and data privacy through best practices.

Basic Qualifications (required)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in API development, with a focus on scalability and security.
Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Strong understanding of data privacy and security regulations.
Local candidate based on the East Coast, within commuting distance of Washington, DC
