This position is eligible for remote work. This role will have occasional on site expectations.
The App Marketing Senior Specialist will play a critical role in developing and amplifying the reach & impact of app marketing initiatives across the Beyond, Inc. family of brands (including Bed Bath and Beyond, Overstock and Zulily) with a key focus on increasing user adoption and driving retention.
They will assist in strategizing, planning and implementing paid and organic marketing campaigns to acquire new app users and increase adoption across our existing customer base. They will help manage collaborative efforts across channels, products, and teams ensuring alignment and progress towards goals. The ideal candidate will have experience working on mobile apps for large online retailers as well as an aptitude for data analysis. The App Marketing Senior Specialist will champion all App customer experiences: pages, functionality, In-App Messaging, Behavioral Push Notifications, App Exclusive offers, etc.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Help develop digital marketing strategies that encourages consumer app adoption, repeat behaviors, decreased churn, and increased lifetime value (LTV).
- Contribute to the development and testing of new promotions, partners, and tactics.
- Assist with creative and copy request process for monthly app offers, feature promotions, and push notification enhancements.
- Analyze key metrics including cost to acquire, app % of sales, MAU, DAU, order frequency, AOS, and return on investment, etc. to design efficient and data driven marketing campaigns.
- Utilize organic tactics to drive traffic through website/landing page optimization, social, search, blog, PR, and other owned and earned channels.
- Partner with paid marketing channel teams such as Facebook, Google, and Apple to drive support and success of their app marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams like Product, Merchandising, customer service, Analytics, etc. to drive innovation through new capabilities.
- Track and measure campaign success. Create and present performance reporting and analysis on all mobile marketing campaigns.
- Follow all prescribed legal business requirements.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of ecommerce marketing experience with knowledge of app and digital marketing strategies and partners.
- Deep knowledge of mobile app ecosystem, best practices and industry trends, inclusive of both iOS and Android
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using tools like GA4, AppsFlyer, Branch, Firebase, etc
- Technical grasp on interconnected technologies that power the mobile experience and ability to navigate complexities
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Behavioral Science, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to create strong external partnerships that generate results (paid and owned).
- Exposure to consumer brand advertising strategies in the B2C mobile space.
- Team player who can thrive in a data-driven, fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and detail-oriented self-starter.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
- Experience with Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, preferred
Base Pay Range
$61,500 – $73,000 per year

Physical Requirements
This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
