Job Purpose:

· Lead and support technical project delivery by overseeing engineering configuration, system integration, troubleshooting, software development, and customization within the Tridium Niagara framework

Description of Tasks:

· Develop and customize software solutions using the Tridium Niagara framework and other IoT platforms.

· Design and implement interface drivers based on project specifications, using Java and the Tridium Niagara framework.

· Support the engineering and delivery of Building Automation and IoT projects, ensuring seamless integration and execution.

· Conduct testing, commissioning, system integration, and troubleshooting for IoT, BMS, and IBMS systems at project sites.

· Perform project scope surveys and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to meet project requirements.

· Ensure the successful handover and closure of project deliverables in line with client expectations.

· Provide ongoing maintenance and support for customized implementations after project handover.

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyze customer business requirements to design, develop, and implement tailored solutions.

· Develop custom software drivers and modules to meet specific project needs.

· Coordinate with clients and third-party vendors to ensure the successful delivery of specialized project components.

· Configure and execute engineering activities, ensuring seamless project implementation.

· Test system devices to verify functional reliability and ensure proper operation of monitoring systems.

· Manage project timelines to ensure on-time completion in line with project delivery schedules.

· Maintain high-quality standards throughout project execution.

· Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on software implementations, embedded controllers, and modules.

· Oversee core technical tasks, ensuring smooth execution and technical accuracy.

· Develop custom graphical user interfaces (GUIs) using scripting languages such as JavaScript.

· Commission and troubleshoot hardware controllers, networks, and related systems.

· Prepare network interface control and design documentation.

· Conduct health checks on IoT equipment and resolve any technical issues.

· Test and configure new IoT solutions to ensure proper functionality and integration.

· Skills Required:

· 2 to 4 years of experience in IoT, IBMS, and BMS, with a proven track record of successfully completing engineering project tasks within deadlines.

· Strong proficiency in software development using the Tridium Niagara framework.

· Solid programming and scripting skills in Java, JavaScript, and Python.

· Proficient in HTML5 for creating well-structured, responsive, and accessible web pages, with expertise in form handling, client-side storage, API integration, and performance optimization.

· In-depth understanding of industry-standard protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, OPC, MQTT, REST, and SOAP.

· Hands-on experience with engineering, testing, and commissioning of systems.

· Basic knowledge of computer networking and cloud-based systems.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff, stakeholders, and customers.

· Proficient in using remote work management tools and platforms.

Pay: AED8,000.00 – AED10,000.00 per month
