The ideal candidate is looking to grow his/her career within our Customer Support team and thrives in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The Reporting team regroups a bunch of passionate and dynamic folks who have the responsibility to deliver support on the Dayforce Reporting & Analytics features to all Ceridian’s Dayforce customers. Your role as an Application Specialist is to provide top-notch support experience through excellent technical and function skills. You will have the opportunity to work with clients and colleagues around the world, get exposure to different legislations, fields, and technologies, and experience diverse cultures.

What You’ll Get To Do

  • Providing rapid response and resolution to incidents by applying technical and functional knowledge
  • Deliver customized solutions in accordance with agreed schedules, procedures, and standards
  • Program and script tasks as required
  • Cross-collaboration across departments to drive the completion of tasks
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills to deliver excellent customer service
  • Ability to multi-task and efficient time management.
  • Effective documentation of actions/investigations and solutions on CRM system
  • Evaluate and channel risks, and challenges to Senior colleagues and Managers
  • Meet Productivity and Quality expectations “Support KPI”
  • Take full ownership and follow up on assigned SQL projects, create visibility to key stakeholders
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction
  • Contribute to support and client knowledgebase.
  • Deliver technical and DF functional training to new joiners.
  • Provide mentorship to junior application specialists.
  • Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and relevant training materials.
  • Work with leader to identify support process and tools improvements.

Skills And Experience We Value

  • Proficient in SQL, SQL Server, XML/XSLT
  • Experience with PowerBi will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of software development concepts and lifecycles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – French will be a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Strong team player
  • Passionate about client facing
  • Strong focus on quality
  • Autonomous and proactive
  • Programming experience is an advantage
  • Diploma or Degree holder in any IT related field
  • Advanced SQL with proven work experience
  • 3-4 years of experience in software development, testing, implementation, or support environment.
  • Having experience in customer support is an advantage
