About the role 

As the Architect, you’ll be the visionary behind our projects, conceptualizing, designing, and implementing innovative and sustainable architectural solutions. Your role will involve developing detailed designs and ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. We’re seeking someone with a profound passion for architectural design, a meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to delivering outstanding results. Hybrid work within Australia offering flexibility with a combination of office and work from home conditions, enhancing work-life balance and productivity. 

Key Responsibilities

• Engage actively to understand project requirements, vision, and constraints, ensuring comprehensive comprehension and clear communication.
• Promptly respond to briefs, confirming understanding in a timely manner, and set a positive tone for projects with efficiency and professionalism.
• Develop creative and innovative architectural designs that enhance project aesthetics.
• Efficiently manage projects within budget and timeline constraints, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior staff for their professional growth and ensuring a skilled and cohesive architectural team.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and industry standards, minimizing legal risks by maintaining project integrity.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, applying new skills to projects.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables through detailed design reviews and continual improvement based on feedback.
• Fulfill other tasks as requested.

What we are looking for

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in architectural retail design, with a successful portfolio of retail store designs.
• Registered as an Architect in Australia
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other 3D modeling software.
• Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, effective in working with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of design cost and value management.
• Proven track record of sustained results in a similar role.
• Strong team-building skills, with the ability to mentor and train ambitious designers.
