Landmark Products is part of the Furphy Infrastructure Group. Established in 1988, Landmark Products has become Australia’s leading supplier of high quality pre-fabricated open space structures including, shelters, restrooms, sports change rooms facilities, pedestrian bridges, boardwalk structures and street & park furniture, engineered specifically for public use throughout Australia.
Landmark Products have played an important role in over 30,000 open space projects in the last 30 years and work closely with, Landscape Architects, Architects, Urban Designers and other specifiers who are involved in the design of open space projects for Local & State Government, Education, Major Projects, Developers & Contractors across Australia.
The Role & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Landmark General Manager, the position will best suit someone with a Landscape architecture background or a proven and successful business development background working with and alongside Landscape Architects and other specifiers.
Representing our extensive suite of Australian made open space products, Landmark also represents a significant global architectural lighting, products and consultancy company based in Europe. Offering a distinctive Mediterranean and European product design, you will be a key manager of this relationship for Landmark.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying, managing & monitoring opportunities for our suite of products and services with the above-mentioned organisation types for small and major projects across Australia.
- Managing and maintaining CRM / BCI and collaborating with our team of national project consultants.
- Developing specific and high-quality proposals and or solutions to meet varying client requirements.
- Interpreting / preparation of written technical material (specifications / landscape reports, etc).
- Communicating product design requirements to in-house design & manufacturing teams at a detailed level.
- Collaborating closely with our marketing team and playing an active role in the delivery of specific marketing plans.
- Attend industry events, conferences on national basis to meet potential clients and collaborators.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market demands for competitiveness.
About You:
You have a passion for landscape architecture and open space projects and have links and existing relationships within this community. You are a proactive, confident and articulate relationship builder who can identify and add value to specifiers as they design and plan new projects. You are an articulate and dynamic consultant instrumental in driving the company’s growth by securing our market presence into landscape architectural projects across the country.
You will also have:
- A self-starter & determined attitude.
- A background in Landscape architecture, open space design & planning or similar.
- Ambition to establish a career in B2B specification sales from the ground up.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to develop lasting relationships with specifiers and clients.
- An established network of contacts (Landscape Architects, Government, Developers, Builders etc) would be highly regarded.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
