Asset Manager (Remote)

As an Asset Manager (BMC Remedy and ServiceNow), you will develop and implement processes for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment throughout their lifecycle. You will provide day-to-day operational and maintenance support for production issues related to the Asset Management module in BMC Remedy and ServiceNow. Your responsibilities will include conducting annual inventory audits, performing bulk uploads of asset data, identifying and auditing asset data, and creating user accounts and support groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the back-up Asset Manager.
• Develop and implement processes for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment through the lifecycle.
• Provide day-to-day operational and maintenance support for production issues related to the Asset Management module in Remedy and ServiceNow.
• Conduct annual inventory audits and develop processes for consistency.
• Perform bulk uploads of asset data and identify and audit asset data.
• Develop and maintain asset-related foundation data and create reports for users and management.
• Create user accounts, site information, hardware and product categorizations, and support groups.
• Participate in user acceptance testing.
• Manage fixed and floating licensing for the Asset Management Module.
• Create end-user documentation and develop and conduct training.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• ITIL Foundation Certification.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience with BMC Remedy (version 20.02) or equivalent ITSM tool.
• Strong working knowledge of CMDB and Asset Management methodology, tools, terminology, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including meeting management and facilitation.
• Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities successfully.
• Strong customer service skills in interfacing with IT individuals across different roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $55.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
