Key Responsibilities
- Support the Community Manager in overseeing daily community operations to uphold the highest standards of professionalism among team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to leasing, marketing, and maintenance.
- Maintain a well-organized and professional office environment, managing both paper and electronic resident files securely.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to address service requests and maintain community cleanliness.
- Safeguard financial transactions and ensure proper bookkeeping practices are followed.
- Supervise leasing team activities in the absence of the Community Manager.
- Foster exceptional resident relations by promptly addressing comments and complaints.
- Prepare essential move-in documentation and assess the condition of apartments prior to new resident occupancy.
- Monitor and ensure the timely completion of service requests and inspections of make-ready apartments.
- Conduct market analysis to stay informed about competing properties and trends in the sub-market.
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and support a team.
- Knowledge of leasing and marketing strategies.
- Proficient in maintaining organized office and resident files.
- Experience in financial management and bookkeeping.
- Understanding of Fair Housing and ADA regulations.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to excel in high-pressure environments while managing multiple priorities.
- Effective leadership skills with proven team management experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
