Job Overview

As an Advertising, Marketing & Promotions Associate or Counsel, you will provide expert legal counsel to clients, assisting them in navigating intricate regulatory frameworks, creating compliant advertising initiatives, and defending against potential disputes and regulatory challenges. Your role will encompass contract negotiations, compliance guidance, and strategic counsel across various sectors such as retail, entertainment, gaming, software, internet, food and beverage, and advertising.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate agreements related to advertising, including influencer, endorsement, sponsorship, and media buying contracts.
• Review advertising materials to ensure adherence to laws regarding false advertising, claim substantiation, intellectual property, and publicity rights.
• Advise clients on compliance matters for contests, sweepstakes, subscription programs, and loyalty/rewards initiatives.
• Counsel on consumer protection and marketing challenges across diverse industries.
• Represent clients in defending against claims of false advertising, unfair competition, and other regulatory issues.
• Stay informed on emerging trends and legal developments in advertising and consumer protection law.
