Job Overview

Join our dynamic and expanding organization as a Business Development Associate within our Strategic Accounts team. This remote position reports to the Senior Strategic Accounts Associate and is instrumental in fostering and enhancing client relationships, identifying new insurance clients, and collaborating with our marketing teams to amplify our outreach efforts in the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess potential insurance clients not currently utilizing our services.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Marketing Partners to evaluate campaign outcomes that influence the Insurance Division.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with designated accounts.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external clients to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Oversee project teams to confirm that contracts are executed efficiently and as intended.
  • Collect and analyze data from insurance clients and competitors.
  • Prepare and present compelling presentations to prospective clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Complete assigned business development tasks using Asana for project management.
  • Track and incorporate qualified insurance prospects into the sales pipeline.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic alliances within the insurance industry to stimulate business growth.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in Business Development or Strategic Accounts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Initiative to recognize opportunities and take proactive measures.
  • Experience in driving business through an inside sales framework.
  • Comfort with video conferencing tools and daily communication platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Commitment to transparency and honesty with clients, colleagues, and prospects.
  • Reliability in meeting deadlines and completing tasks promptly.
