Position Overview:
The Associate Creative Director, Copy will help elevate PFFs voice and shape how our brand connects with the world. They will craft compelling narratives and engaging copy for football enthusiasts, casual fans, and business partners alike. This is a perfect opportunity for a strategic thinker who can transform complex data into engaging stories and who thrives at the intersection of creativity and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership
- Develop smart, engaging copy for marketing campaigns, product launches, web content, social media, video scripts, and more
- Collaborate with designers, strategists, technologists, and content creators to bring big ideas to life.
- Champion PFFs brand voice, ensuring consistency across all channels.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and execute creative concepts from ideation to delivery.
Copywriting Excellence
- Translate complex football analytics into clear, accessible, and exciting content for diverse audiences.
- Write, edit, and deliver high-impact copy that drives engagement and builds brand trust.
Strategic Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to align messaging with business objectives.
- Leverage data and performance insights to refine and optimize copy for effectiveness.
Team Development
- Mentor and provide feedback to junior writers and external partners. Foster a culture of creativity and collaboration where innovative ideas are encouraged and celebrated.

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional copywriting experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or project management role.
- Proven experience creating high-impact content for consumer-facing brands. (Bonus points for experience in sports, analytics, or tech.)
- Strong grasp of content marketing and audience engagement strategies
- Ability to distill data-driven insights into sharp, compelling messaging.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for football is a big plus especially if you enjoy uncovering the stories hidden in the numbers.
- A portfolio is needed to be considered
