The Role
The Associate Product Manager (APM) will be responsible for delivering successful client facing products/features within defined timelines, budgets and quality standards. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, data analytics, and customer success, to execute strategies that enhance user adoption, engagement, retention, and monetization.The ideal candidate has experience managing products from ideation through to launch and is adept at using customer insights to inform product decisions.
What You’ll Do:
  • Manage changes to product/feature scope, timelines, and resources, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
  • Ensure deliverables meet defined quality standards and client requirements.
  • Ensure the product/feature scope is delivered, and that the product team are fully aware of what is expected of them in service of this.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and business goals.
  • Actively engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their pain points, and validate product ideas and features.
  • Participate in market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities and define product requirements.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and customer needs.
  • Develop detailed product specifications and user stories.
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate product updates and releases to internal stakeholders and customers, ensuring a clear understanding of new features and benefits.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our platform remains competitive and innovative.
Success Measures
  • Timely and successful delivery of products/features within allocated budgets.
  • High stakeholder satisfaction, demonstrated through feedback, positive relationships and customer referenceability.
  • Effective utilization of product resources and adherence to product plans.
  • Proactive identification and mitigation of project risks and issues.
  • Adherence to project governance and controls, demonstrating clear use of all standards, templates and processes.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in product management or related roles.
  • Experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude).
  • Basic knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • SaaS Software Experience: Basic understanding of SaaS software delivery processes, project lifecycle, and related resource requirements.
  • Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Able to sync with US-based team members.
