Associate Project Manager Due Diligence (Remote)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to spearhead intelligence gathering initiatives for due diligence assignments on behalf of our esteemed investment firm clients. This fully remote position encompasses the management of all aspects of the assigned projects, from establishing objectives to presenting detailed intelligence reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze the intelligence needs of clients to set definitive collection goals.
• Develop expertise in the target company, specific intelligence interests, and the pertinent industry landscape.
• Perform thorough analyses to pinpoint potential intelligence sources.
• Collect intelligence diligently, discreetly, and with urgency, ensuring adherence to high ethical standards and legal compliance.
• Convey intelligence findings accurately, objectively, and promptly.
• Foster strong collaborative relationships with client portfolio managers and analysts while grasping each client’s unique investment philosophy.
• Educate clients continuously on the utility and significance of intelligence.
• Maintain strict legal compliance, including adherence to insider trading laws.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated experience in intelligence collection or commercial due diligence.
• Practical background within the private sector, preferably in sectors relevant to the investment community.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and SEC filings.
• Proficiency in tools such as SmartSheet, LexisNexis, and Westlaw is advantageous.
• Comfort with cold calling.
• Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Strong professional initiative and drive.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently across various industries.
• Fluency in a second language is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of pertinent experience.
• A keen interest in consulting, business analysis, or investment research fields.
