Job Title: Associate Project Manager
Omnicell has a dynamic opportunity for an Associate Project Manager with strong strategic and operational planning skills to assist in managing a world-class Global Operations Organization. The Associate Project Manager plays a crucial role in managing the implementation and ongoing servicing of our strategic initiatives. Strong cross-functional communication skills are required to work in a collaborative environment with internal team members from many groups within Omnicell.
Responsibilities :
Supports the Global Operations Strategic Programs function by:
- Manage small non-complex programs and projects that support Global Operations
- Manage all administrative activities of multiple simultaneous projects
- Manage and report to various project budgets and/or timelines
- Plan all aspects of Global Operations projects and other assignments.
- Manage project scope, resources, and deliverables within specified deadlines while continuously assessing the change relative to the agreed scope
- Work directly with our internal project management teams throughout all project phases
- Proactively identify significant project risks, develop mitigation strategies, escalate to leadership, and implement approved mitigation steps
- Provide internal and external project status reporting, ensuring all stakeholders receive the required level of detail
- Actively lead project status meetings and complete weekly reports
- Review documentation and verify internal assets to continuously improve our processes
- Gather and prepare content for key meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, action items, and ensure effective communication/follow-up
- Perform administrative tasks for Senior Leadership, such as scheduling travel, executing expense reports, scheduling meetings, etc.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to facilitate in-person and via webinars to achieve a high level of learning effectiveness and satisfaction by participants
- Strong negotiation/problem-solving skills
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented, independent, and able to adjust to changing priorities
- Able to quickly learn new software and functionality of new products
- Ability to work collaboratively and enjoy working in a fast-paced technical environment
- Proven track record of success in managing multiple projects/multiple presentation deadlines at one time
- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
- Demonstrates strong drive, initiative, and intellectual curiosity
- Proficient with project management tools (i.e. SmartSheet, Microsoft Project)
Basic Qualifications :
- Associate’s Degree OR
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification OR
- 1+ year of healthcare industry experience OR
- 1+ year of Project Coordinator (or equivalent) experience
Preferred Qualifications :
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
Work Conditions :
- 0-5% domestic travel
- Hybrid or Remote
- Must be willing and able to work across different time zones as needed
