Automotive Mcu Business Development Marketing Staff Specialist Apac (Remote)

Renesas is seeking a self driven, motivated, and enthusiastic professional to join our High Performance Computing (HPC) Microcontroller Business Development team. As the MCU Business Development Staff Specialist for APAC (Korea + Taiwan), you will drive business development efforts with the leading Renesas’ high performance MCU products. You will build strong customer relationships and work closely with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and ecosystem partners, and ensure smooth internal collaboration too.

• Develop and implement marketing strategies for automotive MCU products in APAC (Korea Taiwan) aligning with business objectives
• Define product positioning and compelling messaging for target segments and customers
• Build strong relationships with key customers and partners, such as HKMC, LG VC, Hyundai Mobis Foxconn and etc
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate marketing efforts with sales, product development, and other departments to effectively win designs
• Implement platform solution selling at the target OEMs and Tier 1s Work with Sales FAE team to support and manage customers design cycle from prototyping to mass production
• Provide sales teams with the necessary marketing tools and support to enhance their efforts and meet sales targets
• Conduct market analysis, competitor research, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and market trends
• Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to senior management
• Lead and mentor the automotive MCU marketing team in the region, fostering a collaborative and high performing work environment

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields and 12+ years of related professional experience or Master’s degree in Engineering, or BSEE with MBA with 10+ years of experience.
• In depth knowledge of automotive MCU technologies, architectures, and applications, with a proven track record of successful marketing experience in this domain.
• Comprehensive understanding of Korea automotive markets such as E/E architecture, xEV and Body), including market trends, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies that align with China automotive business objectives and drive market share growth.
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with engineering, sales, and product teams to translate technical capabilities into compelling marketing messages.
• Proven experience in positioning and differentiating automotive MCU products, understanding customer pain points, and communicating unique value propositions.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
