Automotive Pricing Strategy Manager (Remote)

We are looking for an Automotive Project Manager to join our Group Inventory Management Team, that is responsible for the steering of a variety of projects, managing processes and supporting with insightful analysis on the inventory for all European markets in our AUTO1 Group Operations Department. In this Department we ensure smooth processes by combining operational thinking with strategic skill.

Job Description

• Conduct critical reviews of existing processes, strategies, and outcomes to identify profitability drivers and implement strategies to enhance inventory turnover
• Develop systems to identify and mitigate inventory risks effectively
• Coordinate the implementation of new tools, reports, or workflows, and oversee activities related to retail inventory strategy
• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to design, establish, and monitor new processes and strategies
• Support the growth of new projects and processes by performing day-to-day analytical and project oriented tasks
• Leverage our data to develop strategies to perform market price reality checks for the vehicle price advertisement
• Monitor the documentation of the market positioning of our vehicles based on their characteristic and pricing
• Take over the independent research of relevant information of vehicle types to ensure a correct market comparison

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and first practical work experience in consulting, business development, business analytics, project management, finance or e-commerce
• Technical and/or commercial knowledge in the automotive sector, combined with a strong passion for cars and a keen interest in e-commerce
• Previous experience in evaluating, buying/selling, or trade-in cars is a plus
• Ability to manage priorities, stakeholders and meet time-sensitive deadlines
• Very good knowledge of common Office applications (specifically Excel) and Google Sheets are mandatory, SQL skills would be strong plus
• Excellent English language skills, any other European language skills are welcome
