We’re looking for an AV/IT Engineer in the audiovisual and home automation sector for a private property close to Geneva, Bilingual or Fluent French & English.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of AV/IT systems to ensure uninterrupted operation.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AV / lighting control systems, and network configurations.
Work closely with 2nd and 3rd line teams when escalations may be required.
Document all service and maintenance activities accurately for reference and reporting, keeping the Support team up to date on site status.
Keeping records identify recurring issues and coordinating solutions to combat them.
Working with technical support departments from suppliers to progress RMA’s and repairs, if necessary
Updating of system commissioning documentation such as AV/IT schedules, and accurate note recording of work carried out on site and via remote work.
Conducting unscheduled visits as needed for emergency situations.

Skills

Proven experience as an AV/IT Engineer within the AV / Home Automation industry.
Technical knowledge of the installation and maintenance of electronic AV/IT systems including Crestron, Lutron, Cisco, Dante.
An understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.
Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and fix hardware and software issues related to AV/IT equipment.
Ability to perform standard LV and ELV cable terminations.
Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise work and meet Client expectations.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics and technical documentation.
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, in French & English.
