What this role is all about:
The AVP, Digital Marketing will spearhead Beem Credit Union’s digital marketing efforts, with a strong emphasis on enhancing the member experience and fostering growth through innovative digital strategies. This role involves crafting and implementing a comprehensive digital marketing plan that utilizes data analytics, member insights, and industry best practices to optimize member acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty.
By setting clear digital performance metrics and collaborating with cross-functional teams, this leader will drive effective member engagement across various digital channels, ultimately supporting key business objectives such as customer loyalty and market expansion.
What you’ll do:
- Digital Marketing Strategy Development: Create and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives, focusing on member acquisition, engagement, and retention. Effectively manage budgets and resources.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of digital trends, member behaviors, and market opportunities to identify growth areas and optimize product-market fit. Evaluate competitor strategies to uncover gaps and differentiation opportunities.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics to generate actionable insights that inform digital campaigns and segmentation strategies based on member behavior and demographics.
- KPI Definition and Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts and drive continuous improvement.
- Automation & Journey Mapping: Leverage automation tools and member journey mapping to streamline processes and enhance engagement throughout the member lifecycle.
- Paid Agency Management: Manage relationships with external paid media agencies to execute advertising strategies effectively. Collaborate with agencies to develop and implement paid marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Paid Strategy Management: Establish and oversee paid media strategies that drive member acquisition, retention, and engagement. Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to maximize ROI.
- Community Engagement and Advocacy: Design initiatives that encourage member advocacy and strengthen community ties through targeted digital engagement campaigns and events.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing digital marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
A little about your qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA considered an asset.
- Minimum of 7 years in digital marketing, with a proven track record in Financial Institutions, or Fintech.
- Exceptional ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong teamwork skills, demonstrating effective influencing, active listening, and adaptability.
- Proven success in setting and achieving ambitious digital marketing goals through effective planning and execution.
- Proficient in resolving conflicts and employing structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong capability to leverage data for informed decision-making and evaluate campaign effectiveness.
- Experience in managing high-performing, data-driven teams, fostering accountability and collaboration.
- In-depth understanding of digital marketing trends, member needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives on time and within budget.
- Adaptable to changing market conditions with a proactive, collaborative mindset.
What you’ll gain:
- Competitive base salary; reviewed annually – the salary range for this position is $150,000 – $175,000
