The AVP, Marketing Operation is responsible for building a flexible and scalable infrastructure for marketing campaign execution. S/he will be responsible for Direct-to-Consumer marketing campaign segmentation, campaign test design and campaign execution. The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of business ownership, marketing and operations acumen, leadership, agility, and communication skills and have a passion for data, metrics and reporting. This individual also excels in operations that enable predictability, scalability and efficiency. The ideal candidates must demonstrate the ability to operate and excel at the strategic as well as tactical levels.
This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling, system architecture, and data movement optimization. S/he will combine strategic vision and tactical expertise to identify opportunities and create innovative solutions, which will serve the lead generation goals of the business. The ideal candidate keeps a sharp focus on customer retention. S/he will partner with marketing channel owners to plan and execute marketing strategies. This role requires a strategic thought leader who has the desire to roll up their sleeves and do the work in addition to leading a team of fellow experts. S/he will be expected to manage, inspire, and grow a high-performance team and will partner with various internal stakeholders beyond the marketing team to improve customer retention.
Primary day-to-day responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing channel managers to implement a test, measure and refine approach to improve marketing efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and strive for marketing optimization and operational excellence.
- Manage all aspects of marketing operations including vendor management, compliance, campaign execution, fulfillment and tracking
- Constantly drive process excellence to ensure legal, regulatory compliance.
- Drive strategic initiative across organization.
- Improve the performance of existing automation and algorithms.
- Manage project delivery in a timely manner.
- Outstanding oral/written communication. Excellent communication skills to tell a story .
- Highly self-motivated, personally accountable, and adaptive with an ability to drive timelines and manage competing agendas
- Direct responsibility for engaging, inspiring, and managing a team to drive toward high performance and daily accountability.
- Strong team player with ability to develop effective working relationships across organization: Finance, Loan servicing, Sales, Operations, IT.
- Ability to connect dots and play in white space
Education/Training Required
- Bachelor s degree in Database Design/Management, Information System, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of experience in database marketing.
- Mortgage experience is a plus.
- Expert Level in MS SQL Server, Store Procedure, Visual Studio is required.
- Prefer working knowledge of HCL Unica suites, including Unica Campaign, Unica Interact, Unica Journey.
