Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure. This position involves collaborating with development, operations, and product teams to streamline deployment processes, enhance system reliability, and maintain a secure and scalable environment for applications. You will work within Microsoft Azure to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate processes, and monitor system health to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines on Azure DevOps for smooth and reliable application delivery.
• Infrastructure Automation: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep to automate resource provisioning, scaling, and configuration.
• Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to maintain high availability and performance.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with software engineers to understand and support their development, testing, and deployment needs, ensuring seamless workflows across environments.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance standards within Azure environments, managing identity, access, and data protection across resources.
• Disaster Recovery & Backup: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup plans, including failover strategies and data recovery, to protect business-critical applications and data.
• Release Management: Coordinate and support the deployment of new versions, bug fixes, and patches across multiple environments, maintaining a stable and robust production environment.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipeline configuration.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
• Knowledge of network, security, and database management within Azure.
• Problem-solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and resolve complex system issues efficiently.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate).
• Experience with cloud security practices and tools, including role-based access control (RBAC) and Azure Security Center.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
