Backend Developer (Remote)

OSF Digital is seeking a skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable RESTful APIs using the .NET stack. You will work in Azure environments, applying clean architecture principles to ensure our systems are modular, testable, and easy to maintain. Your expertise in event-driven applications or microservices will be crucial in ensuring our components are decoupled and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Implement and manage applications in Azure environments to optimize performance and scalability.
• Apply clean architecture principles for modular and maintainable code.
• Design and implement event-driven systems or microservices.
• Work with relational databases like SQL Server and Postgres, focusing on schema design and query optimization.
• Utilize Docker for application containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Collaborate with frontend, design, and product teams to meet business requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement in code and development processes, embracing agile and DevOps practices.
• Ensure applications are secure and comply with relevant standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience with the .NET stack (.NET Framework, .NET Core, SQL Server).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and Azure environments.
• Experience with clean architecture and microservices development.
• Proficiency in relational databases (SQL Server, Postgres).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Analytical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of software security practices and compliance.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with event-driven applications or microservices is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes is a nice to have.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
