Backend Software Engineer Java (Remote)

Compensation: 100k-130k/yr + Equity

With $7 million in funding from leading investors and top-tier VCs, we’re looking for a Backend Engineer to join our talented engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and improve user experience.
• Create and maintain documentation for software designs and architectures.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on Java development.
• Familiarity with backend development and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms and database systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in microservices architecture is a plus.
• Demonstrated capability to adapt to a fast-paced, startup culture.
