Stormtech are the category leader in the design and manufacture of high-end architectural drainage products and are proudly Australian made and owned! We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional to develop sales through specification channel, in liaising with merchant projects branches. 

The Role:

  • Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will build on existing Architectural relationships to influence and secure Stormtech specifications
  • Present and provide information on products and service to specifier enquiries 
  • Track and follow-up all specification leads and forecast x product, volume & timing.
  • Coordinate a pipeline of projects/opportunities to pass on to Account Managers at order stage
  • Work closely with internal and external sales team colleagues to manage specification pipeline
  • Develop relationships with specification Representatives in customer project branches
  • Plan, prepare and deliver presentations for client meetings and industry events
  • Networking across the building and design community
  • Troubleshooting, problem-solving, making recommendations and negotiations with clients
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales and specification presentations
  • Build and maintain effective, trusting and productive relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Read customer provided plans, drawings and information to ensure the right product solution and advise is given.
  • Provide technical assistance to specifiers and project branches of resellers helping them with product specifications and solutions
  • Provide monthly sales report to capture sales activity, project status and wins, follow up and performance v Budget

Who you are:

You are a self-motivated individual with a minimum of 2 years sales experience selling products to the building industry. You can demonstrate past sales success and you can outline how you achieved those results! You are comfortable working in a product led sales role and you can deliver effective product training sessions to your customer’s sales teams. You have possibly sold drainage, roofing or irrigation products previously OR have a trade background.
