- Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement end-to-end marketing strategies tailored to the Chinese market, including brand positioning, messaging, and campaign planning.
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams to localize global campaigns while ensuring brand consistency.
- E-commerce Leadership:
- Drive e-commerce growth by partnering with key online platforms (e.g., Tmall, JD.com) to optimize product listings, enhance customer experience, and increase sales conversion.
- Develop and execute digital marketing plans, including SEO/SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, and influencer collaborations.
- Analyze e-commerce data and consumer insights to refine strategies and improve performance metrics.
- Brand Building:
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, and partners, to enhance brand visibility and accessibility.
- Manage and oversee the creation of marketing materials, advertising content, and promotional activities to strengthen brand equity.
- Lead crisis management efforts to protect and enhance the brand’s reputation in the event of any negative publicity or issues.
- Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance targets for the team, providing regular feedback and support to drive results.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members and with other departments such as sales, product development, and finance.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, optimizing spend across various channels to maximize impact and efficiency.
- Monitor campaign performance against budget allocations and make adjustments as necessary to stay within budgetary constraints.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a brand management role within the FMCG sector.
- Proven success in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies in the Chinese market.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce ecosystems and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
