Building Automation Sales And Business Development Manager And | iSMA CONTROLLI | Spain
The ideal candidate has a relevant experience in business development or demand generation roles in B2B sectors within building automation or adjacent sector, in the Spanish market. She/he will play a pivotal role in our company’s growth, being responsible for achieving sales quotas, identifying new growth opportunities, and creating strategies to generate a consistent pipeline of qualified leads. The ability to build on top of critical relationships already in place with building automation market players (distributors, system integrators, consultants, M&E contractors, FM and End Users) and establish new ones in the given territory will directly impact the achievement of the company’s assigned goals.
The role will report to Sales Leader and key collaboration with marketing, sales, and product teams to promote solutions tailored to market needs will ensure sustainable growth and achieve company goals.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales quota, VCM, pricing (and repositioning if required)
- Design and implement strategies to attract, engage, and convert new customers.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to discover new business opportunities, expanding the customer base and increasing revenue.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align demand generation strategies with company portfolio, growth objectives and strategy.
- Sales Cycle Management: Monitor and optimise the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, constantly focusing on lead quality.
- Strategic Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and external stakeholders to expand the business ecosystem and grow the customer portfolio.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and analyse demand generation campaign performance, providing detailed reports on KPIs and continuously improving to maximise results.
- CRM Management: CRM tools track and manage leads, ensuring maximum effectiveness in the sales pipeline.
Qualifications
- at least 5 years of experience in business development or demand generation roles, preferably in B2B sectors within building automation or adjacent sector
- Results-oriented: ability to achieve and exceed growth targets through effective pipeline management and innovative strategy implementation.
- Interpersonal Skills: excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Problem-solving: strategic mindset and the ability to effectively solve complex problems.
- Technical Knowledge: familiarity with primary CRM tools and marketing automation platforms.
- Bachelor’s in engineering, economics, marketing, or a related field. Master as a plus.
- Experience in international or fast-growing environments.
