Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Delhi

We are a rapidly growing, multi-disciplinary engineering company with expertise across various engineering fields, including design, estimation, construction supervision, project reporting, environmental assessment, and technical and quality audits. Our in-house NABL-accredited and BIS-recognized laboratory offers advanced testing for construction materials, environmental monitoring, food products, and minerals.
Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving the growth of the business by identifying new opportunities, developing key relationships, and expanding the company’s market presence. The ideal candidate will have strong sales acumen, a passion for business development, and the ability to effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Research and identify potential clients, markets, and strategic partnerships to grow the business.
- Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies for lead generation through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and industry events.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Create and implement effective sales strategies, presentations, and proposals to win new clients.
- Negotiate Contracts and Close Deals: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing the deal.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to stay ahead of industry developments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to align business development strategies with overall company goals.
- Reporting & Metrics: Track and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and other key business development metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master degree in Business, Marketing (MBA)/ B.sc or M.sc or Engineering
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in Material Testing Lab
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and identify new opportunities in competitive markets.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Construction Testing Lab.
