Position Overview:
We are seeking a Business Analyst with specialized experience in Communications Engines like Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Braze, and related platforms. This role focuses on optimizing multi-channel communication strategies, driving customer engagement, and supporting the automation of targeted messaging. The ideal candidate will combine analytical skills with a solid understanding of digital communication tools to enhance customer experiences through data-driven personalization and streamlined processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Partner with stakeholders to capture business needs for communication projects, identifying automation opportunities and aligning with broader marketing and engagement objectives.
- Platform Analysis & Optimization: Leverage SFMC and similar communication tools to evaluate and improve customer communication workflows, automate engagement processes, and enhance user experience.
- Campaign & Journey Management: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to build, launch, and refine multi-channel customer journeys and campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications, and social channels.
- Data Integration & Segmentation: Define and facilitate data integration efforts, ensuring efficient data flows between CRM systems, analytics platforms, and communication engines. Use segmentation to enable targeted, personalized messaging.
- Documentation & Process Mapping: Develop clear documentation, including process maps, user stories, and data flows, to support project teams and clarify requirements.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze campaign performance, utilizing platform analytics to deliver actionable insights for campaign optimization and reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, data, and marketing teams to troubleshoot technical challenges and contribute to the continuous improvement of customer communication initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Experience: 3-5 years in a Business Analyst role or similar, with expertise in SFMC, Braze, HubSpot, Adobe Campaign, or related platforms. Experience in Health Insurance Domain is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Deep knowledge of SFMC core modules (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio).
- Familiarity with multi-channel communication, segmentation, audience management, and data integration.
- Analytical skills with experience in performance tracking tools like Tableau, Google Analytics, or Datorama (preferred).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across departments.
- Ability to clearly convey complex ideas in written and verbal form.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Preferred:
- SFMC or equivalent platform certifications.
- Familiarity with customer journey mapping, A/B testing, and optimization.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations
Please note: This role requires you to work at the client site 3 days a week (Sydney CBD)
