Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify gaps, assess feasibility, and define business workflows.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams.
- Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements for the development team.
- SaaS Product Focus:
- Work closely with SaaS product teams to design and implement scalable, customer-focused solutions.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of SaaS product roadmaps.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve existing business processes using technology.
- Lead workshops and brainstorming sessions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), wireframes, and workflows.
- Ensure proper version control and maintenance of all project artifacts.
- Testing & Validation:
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to define test scenarios and validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide post-implementation support.
- Project Management Support:
- Assist in project planning, prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project milestones, risks, and deliverables, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT software development companies.
- Proven experience working on SaaS projects or cloud-based platforms is highly desirable.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Proficiency in using BA tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and basic understanding of technical architecture is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
