Job Description:

MedWallet is a beyond-the-pill solution that aims at better matching patient needs and empowering patients to form an active part in their treatment. Through this application, patients will have easy access to up-to-date information related to their medicines, and further also have the possibility to schedule appointments and set reminders directly inside the app. Following the OneRoche ambition this app can be used across the organization and reach all our patients around the globe.

Project Description

MedWallet is a digital app that provides patients with important medication-related information in digital form, allowing them to access the most up-to-date information from anywhere, at any time. Furthermore, a complete embedded appointment functionality gives the patient the chance to set reminders of their visits to physicians/hospitals. With MedWallet patients are better educated about their medications and have all relevant information about their therapy in a single place, allowing them to play an active role in their care, which ultimately supports a safe and more convenient treatment journey. Through a sharing functionality, patients are able to share the information within the app with whomever they feel should be informed about the medication(s) they are taking. The app and its content is available in various languages, offers accessibility features that enhance the readability, and provides a link to directly report safety adverse events. In case of safety-related updates, a notification can be triggered that will appear in the app and only disappear once the patient has acknowledged it.

MedWallet already lives in 14 countries around the world, from New Zealand through Argentina, covering a lot of different languages like Arabic, Kosovo, Ukraine and much more.

15 more countries are in preparation right now to leave MedWallet in the next months and more countries will come.

For now, new functionalities are at the beginning of the development to support Elevidys go-live in Brazil and negotiations are ongoing to start to use by DIA in Pakistan with possibilities to extend to more countries in Asia.

Tasks

–> Is an active part in the product’s lifecycle management and ensures that any solution is chosen to fulfill known and understood business requirements, fitting into the Product roadmap definitions and continuously providing business value over its lifecycle.

–> BA collaborate with Informatics Partner, Stakeholders, Product Owner, Product Manager and Development Team (Tester, Developer, IT Architects, and the external Vendors)

–> BA displays skills and capabilities in the area of business partnering and/or product management.

–> Takes on the additional role of Squad Lead where appropriate

–> BA explores opportunities and initiatives to grow MedWallet functionalities and increase the usability of the solution already delivered.

–> Acts as an interface between business and IT functions and as a contact point for business leads in order to define and launch new MedWallet initiatives, leading and driving the scoping phase.

–> Collaborates with Informatics Partners, Product Manager and Business team like translating business strategy in technology enabled, feasibility studies, clarifying available technology on the market.

–> Strives for harmonization of business processes across affiliates by propagating countries best practices, connecting people around the world to reuse MedWallet product content as much as possible.

–> The role supports both backend and frontend components of MedWallet. Activities include but are not limited to capturing and describing the requirements coming from Product Owner, key SMEs, countries and directly from the PAGs, Patients and HCPs, data analysis from various sources, preparing UATs and solution demos, preparing and updating project documentation i.e. Functional Specification, User Requirements Specification, Functional Risk Assessment, System Risk Assessment, prototypes, etc.

–> He/She joins a team of talented, creative, motivated, and global informatics teams.

–> He/She can work independently.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate has experience working in a multicultural, global work team.
• Experience in pharmaceutical and life sciences.
• Experience in UI/UX technics
• Experience in integration projects / products
• Experience in creating project documentation
• Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Identifies and acts upon opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement with the ability to influence and instigate change
• Results-oriented with excellent coordination, organizational, and communication skills
• Agile mindset, knowledge of agile frameworks
• Fluent in English language (spoken & written)
