Business Developer | Pacific International Executive Search | Switzerland
Pacific has been exclusively retained to support a high-growth global market leader with a global presence across 18 Countries to support its expansion across the renewable energy space, specifically in the Solar division.
Our client has already been successful in establishing a customer base in various regions and as a result, we are looking to grow an expert team of Business Development professionals to deliver a high-quality service to their customers in Switzerland.
This is a great opportunity for professionals who are seeking exposure to sales and building strategic partnerships with Customers across Switzerland as well as identifying and building new customer partnerships.
The ideal candidate will be critical in the business’s growth journey by developing market positioning and supporting the sales strategy of existing products into new markets. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, will be able to enhance the value of existing products and networks and have a good knowledge of the Solar and PV industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in Switzerland with a core focus on the photovoltaic market.
- Identify and engage potential customers, partners, and stakeholders to promote the products and services.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential partnership opportunities.
- Leverage existing networks and develop new contacts within the solar industry, focusing on large installers and project-based customers.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for market entry and growth, aligning with company objectives and regional needs.
- Utilize Salesforce to track opportunities, manage customer relationships, and ensure seamless order processing in coordination with HQ.
- Assist customers with technical and commercial inquiries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related area, a master’s degree in Business Management Administration (MBA) is preferable
- Proven experience as a Sales or Business Development Manager in the PV industry or a related field
- Strong knowledge in the Swiss PV market, including key players and regulations.
- Excellent negotiable skills and strong communication at the C-level suite.
- Proficiency in English
- Willingness to travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and engage in business development activities.
