Position Title: Information Technology (IT) Sales Representative

Position Summary:
The IT Sales Representative is responsible for generating and closing sales opportunities for IT products and services, building relationships with clients, and meeting sales targets. This position requires in-depth knowledge of IT solutions, including hardware, software, cloud services, networking solutions, and cybersecurity, as well as the ability to effectively communicate the value of these products to prospective clients. The IT Sales Representative must be a proactive, results-oriented professional with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Targeting:
- Identify and target potential clients in various industries who would benefit from the company’s IT products and services.
- Develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Qualify leads and assess client needs to recommend the most appropriate IT solutions.
- Product Knowledge and Solution Selling:
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s IT product offerings, including hardware, software, cloud-based solutions, networking infrastructure, and cybersecurity tools.
- Understand client requirements and match solutions that address their business challenges, offering tailored product and service recommendations.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and webinars to showcase the benefits of IT solutions to clients.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert advice and consultation on technology needs.
- Follow up with client’s post-sale to ensure successful implementation and to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
- Sales Process Management:
- Manage the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting and initial contact to closing deals and post-sale support.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close sales while maintaining profitability.
- Track and manage sales opportunities using CRM tools, ensuring all relevant data is updated regularly.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
- Stay informed on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings to identify new sales opportunities and threats.
- Conduct market research to understand client needs, industry pain points, and emerging trends in the IT space.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and market demand.
- Sales Targets and Performance:
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and quotas.
- Report on sales performance, pipeline status, and forecasts to senior management.
- Continuously strive to improve sales skills, techniques, and product knowledge to maximize sales opportunities.
- Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as technical support, marketing, and product development, to ensure a smooth sales process and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the sales team to share best practices, strategies, and success stories.
- Customer Support and Service:
- Provide ongoing support to customers after the sale, addressing any issues, troubleshooting product concerns, or facilitating additional needs.
- Work with customer service and technical support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and resolution of any technical problems.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business,
- Marketing,
- Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience:
- 2+ years of sales experience in the IT industry or a related field (e.g., software, networking, hardware, cybersecurity).
- Experience with B2B sales and understanding of the technology purchasing process.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of a wide range of IT solutions, including cloud computing, enterprise software, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
- Ability to learn and understand new technologies quickly and convey their benefits to potential customers.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain complex IT solutions clearly.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with standard office hours, with occasional flexibility needed for client meetings, calls, or travel.
- Occasional travel may be required to meet clients, attend trade shows, or visit company offices.
- Work can be done remotely, with periodic travel to client sites and company offices, depending on the organization’s policy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,000.00 – AED3,000.00 per month
