About the Role

The Love Central (TLC) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Leader to spearhead the growth of Easybiiz and TLC Branded Stories. In this remote leadership role, you will guide, mentor, and drive a team of commission-based sales representatives, ensuring they achieve revenue targets while fostering a high-performance, motivated culture. Your success will be directly tied to team results, with lucrative incentives for hitting milestones and scaling the business development operation.

This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial leader with a passion for driving results, developing talent, and scaling a high-impact business development team.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of 3-5 commission-based sales representatives.
  • Develop and execute strategies to motivate and optimize the team’s performance.
  • Set clear team goals, monitor KPIs, and ensure business development targets are consistently met.

Team Development

  • Provide hands-on support during the onboarding process for new sales reps.
  • Facilitate regular coaching sessions to enhance team members’ business development skills and industry knowledge.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging the exchange of best practices and feedback.

Strategic Planning

  • Design and implement a scalable business development framework for Easybiiz and TLC Branded Stories.
  • Align strategies with the company’s growth goals, ensuring a focus on SMEs and medium-sized businesses in Canada and the US.
  • Work closely with leadership to refine marketing materials, pitches, and outreach strategies.

Revenue Growth

  • Drive team revenue growth through effective planning, execution, and leadership.
  • Actively participate in high-value client acquisition opportunities to secure key clients and demonstrate best practices to the team.
  • Regularly report on team performance, including sales pipeline status, conversion rates, and client retention metrics.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in leading a business development or sales team with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
  • Expertise in B2B client acquisition, relationship management, and strategy execution.
  • Strong understanding of commission-based models and strategies to motivate remote teams.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, content marketing, or web design industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and coach.
  • Proficiency in using CRMs and lead generation tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, or Apollo.

Compensation

  • Leadership Commission: Earn 10-15% of the revenue generated by your team in addition to individual sales commissions (20-30% per sale).
