Business Development Manager Medical | Patient Support Systems | Australia

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Aged Care, Community Care and NDIS markets. Patient Support Systems Pty Ltd, is a leading provider in Pressure Care surfaces and solutions. Based in Belrose, NSW, this full-time role will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients and expand the company’s footprint in these key service areas.

What this role entails

  • Developing and executing sales and marketing plans to identify, engage and secure new clients
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of sales opportunities through active prospecting, networking and relationship building
  • Preparing and delivering high-quality proposals and tender submissions to win new business
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to potential clients on the company’s product and service offerings 
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and client feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Reporting on sales performance and contributing to the development of the company’s strategic business plans

What we’re looking for

  • Proven track record in business development, preferably within the Aged-Care, Community Care and NDIS sectors
  • Extensive knowledge of the NDIS and home care funding models, along with a deep understanding of the needs of these client groups
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively negotiate with clients
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the capacity to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies
  • Ability to work independently, with a high degree of initiative and drive
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field (e.g. business, marketing, healthcare) are highly regarded
