We are looking for a Business Development Manager to manage the Medium Voltage sales pipeline for New South Wales (NSW). The successful candidates will manage the Medium Voltage switchgear, Ring main units, Distribution transformers, package solutions and electrical systems services products.Â
This role would suit a dynamic and sales driven person who thrives on identifying opportunities and constantly engaging the market to provide tailored customer solutions.
Â
Key Duties  Â
- Maintain and continuously grow customer accounts in the region.Â
- Constantly engage our customer base through face-to-face meetings and regular calls to identify new opportunities.
- Regularly engage with major customers, consultants, contractors, and specialist distributors by providing technical support, solution selling, product launch/promotion presentations and leading a technology mindset.
- Communication to customers on the technical features and business benefits of a proposed solution
- Sell into markets such as rail, infrastructure, data centres and renewables.
- Coordinate trade show participation and write technical articles.
- Quote against tender specifications and provide regular feedback on competitor activity.
- Provide first level technical support on MV switchgear products.
- Provide Value creation and differentiation to customers where needed.

QualificationsÂ
- At least 5 years of local sales experience in the medium voltage industrial industry.Â
- Detailed product knowledge of medium switchgear is desirable but not mandatory.Â
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to relate to people at all levels.Â
- Trade qualification as an electrician or tertiary qualifications.
