Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing Affiliate Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in affiliate marketing, mobile performance marketing, or performance marketing in general, with a proven track record of building and managing relationships with both national and international brands. If you have experience working directly with brands to drive performance-based campaigns across web and mobile platforms, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Develop and manage relationships with direct brands (national & international) to drive affiliate and mobile performance marketing campaigns.
- Mobile Campaign Strategy: Focus on driving mobile-centric campaigns, leveraging affiliate marketing and mobile advertising platforms to optimize app installs, in-app purchases, and other mobile KPIs.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify, negotiate, and secure new affiliate and mobile marketing partnerships that align with client objectives, enhancing campaign performance.
- Campaign Optimization: Collaborate with internal teams and partners to optimize both web and mobile affiliate campaigns and ensure alignment with client goals and KPIs (e.g., ROI, installs, CPA, LTV).
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends in both mobile and traditional affiliate marketing, and uncover new opportunities in the space.
- Mobile Performance Insights: Provide insights into mobile-specific performance metrics such as cost-per-install (CPI), cost-per-action (CPA), ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), LTV (Lifetime Value), and other key mobile marketing KPIs.
- Reporting & Analytics: Deliver regular performance reports to clients, analyze key metrics, and recommend actionable insights to optimize mobile and affiliate campaigns.
- Sales Support: Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for potential clients, with a particular focus on mobile-first strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, mobile, operations, creative, and finance) to ensure seamless execution of mobile and affiliate marketing campaigns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in affiliate marketing, mobile performance marketing, or business development, specifically working with direct brands (both national and international).
- Mobile Performance Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of mobile advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, etc.) and mobile KPIs (CPI, ROAS, LTV).
- Affiliate Marketing Knowledge: Experience with affiliate networks, tracking software, and performance-based marketing strategies, both for mobile and desktop/web.
- Client Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and affiliate partners in the mobile and performance marketing space.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated success in driving mobile and affiliate campaigns, with the ability to meet and exceed KPIs, such as installs, conversions, and ROI.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to pitch mobile and affiliate marketing strategies effectively to clients.
- Negotiation Skills: Experience negotiating affiliate deals, mobile ad placements, terms, and campaign structures.
- Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and make data-driven recommendations for both mobile and web-based campaigns.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing mobile app campaigns, including mobile user acquisition, app install campaigns, and in-app purchase optimization.
- Knowledge of mobile tracking software such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Branch.
- Experience working with international mobile markets or multilingual skills is a plus.
- Familiarity with other mobile-specific ad networks and platforms (e.g., Tapjoy, Chartboost, IronSource).
- A passion for the latest trends and innovations in mobile performance marketing.
