I am excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a talented Business Development Manager who possesses a strong background in client engagement, particularly in understanding and addressing power system requirements. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for crafting customised solutions that align with the diverse needs of various projects.
Your ability to establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across multiple industries—including utilities, mining, construction, and data centres—is essential. We seek a proactive and results-oriented individual who thrives on meeting project deadlines and driving successful outcomes.
You will need to demonstrate strategic thinking and a deep understanding of market dynamics, enabling you to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. As you collaborate with cross-functional teams, your insights will play a crucial role in shaping our offerings and ensuring that we remain competitive in an ever-evolving landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Showcase in-depth knowledge of UPS, switchgears, generators, transformers, energy storage systems, and associated technologies to effectively communicate their value propositions.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate alignment of solutions with client needs.
- Drive the sales process from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales within the power systems sector, preferably with UPS, switchgears, generators, transformers, and energy storage systems.
- Deep understanding of power systems technologies and their applications in various industries.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex technical concepts effectively.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
