Job Description:

The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored marketing solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and marketing services, with a proven track record of closing deals and achieving targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and target new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach efforts.
  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and grow the agency’s client base.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and how our services can meet those needs.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams (creative, strategy, and execution) to create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client goals.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process, including client meetings, negotiations, and contract closure.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify growth opportunities and positioning strategies.
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, creative, and account management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and project execution.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, sales pipeline, and forecasting to the senior leadership team.

Qualifications:

•            Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

•            Experience: 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in PR and/or digital agency environment.

•            Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing new business and achieving revenue growth.

•            Skills:

o            Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

o            Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.

o            Deep understanding of marketing services, including digital marketing, branding, and advertising.

o            Ability to develop and present client-centric proposals and solutions.

o            Knowledge of CRM tools and sales management software.

o            Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN LEAD GENERATION WITH AN AGENCY. REMUNERATION WILL BE A COMBINATION OF FIXED AND VARIABLE(COMMISSION) COMPONENTS. TARGET BASED INCENTIVES EVERY MONTH.
