Job Description

As part of our commercial team, your primary goal is to drive revenue growth by expanding our presence across European markets and attracting new customer segments. Your efforts will directly contribute to achieving our company’s ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) goals.

You’ll play a key role in business development and sales expansion, working closely with prospects and clients to help them understand our offerings and guide them through the purchasing process. As part of a team that’s critical to our company’s success, your role will be instrumental in scaling our operations to reach new markets, customers, and countries.

Your Day To Day Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Acquire new customers and increase our overall revenue through sales efforts
  • Lead Deal Origination: Identify and initiate new deals, managing them through our sales pipeline to successful contract completion.
  • Refine Commercial Strategy: Develop and enhance our commercial strategy based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Expand Market Reach: Focus on increasing our market penetration across European countries (outside the UK), with occasional support for our US market activities.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional sales experience, including 3+ years in enterprise sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the energy, power, or commodity sectors.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Remote Work Expertise: Ability to work independently and manage a remote role, as our team operates fully remotely with members spread across the UK, France, the Netherlands, Germany, and the US.
  • Software Sales: Experience in enterprise software sales, either as a seller or a buyer.
  • Content Creation: Involvement in creating sales and marketing materials such as decks, demos, and pitches.
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in another language such as Italian or Spanish

Bonus Points For

  • Trading Software: Experience working in or selling software to the trading sector.
  • Startup/Remote Environment: Familiarity with the dynamics of a startup and/or remote work environment is a strong plus.
