Business Development Manager | ANYWHERE365® | UK
At Anywhere365 we’re looking for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for The United Kingdom and Ireland. As our Business Development Manager in the United Kingdom, you will be responsible for the execution of sales and business development efforts in the region. Your goal is to find, acquire and retain new logos for our SaaS products. Our goal is to further grow in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and this role will play a key part in achieving that goal.
As we also sell a lot through partners, it will also be your mission to find new partners in the region who would be keen on selling our Anywhere365 Contact Center as a Service and CPaaS cloud solution to new customers. And also to maintain the relationships that have already been established within the region. As our Business Development Manager for the region, you will utilize multiple acquisition strategies, including grass-roots demand and lead generation.
Anywhere365 was founded in The Netherlands, back in 2010 and has grown ever since. At the moment we have around 250 employees working from 28 different countries, with 30 different nationalities. We have offices in The Netherlands and Australia and as we don’t expect you to travel on a weekly basis to The Netherlands, this is a remote role. Occasionally you will be expected to attend events within the region, or visit customers and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and driving effective sales processes and campaigns;
- Prospecting, generating, qualifying, and nurturing leads;
- Partner with the content & community teams on social marketing programs;
- Manage and expand client/partner & prospect relationships;
- Manage the RFP/RFI and contract development processes, as well as negotiating and closing deals;
- Keeping abreast of competitive intelligence and industry knowledge;
- Grow overall sales through solicitation of new business using consultative sales, obtaining bookings from potential clients, completing professional bids/proposals, and attending client visits.
Why we would like to have a dialogue with you
We pick competencies over skills and experience. Can you convince us that you possess the following competencies:
- Communication: The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal- and external stakeholders, and to be responsive to their needs and concerns;
- Collaboration: The ability to work effectively with others and to build strong relationships based on trust and mutual respect, recognizing that everyone has something to contribute;
- Customer centricity: The ability to provide high-quality service to customers, including understanding their needs, solving problems, and responding to feedback;
- Relationship building: The ability to build strong relationships, and to establish a strong network of contacts and collaborators;
- Resilience: The ability to bounce back from setbacks and challenges, and to maintain a positive attitude in the face of change;
- Opportunity recognition: The ability to identify and capitalize on emerging business opportunities and trends in the marketplace;
- Active listening: The ability to listen carefully to the customer’s needs, concerns, and feedback and respond appropriately.
Competencies are key, but to be successful in this role you need to bring a few essentials to kickstart the conversation:
Experience with targeted account planning and strategies
- Possesses a proven track record for prospecting and closing new business;
- Proven account management skills;
- Business modelling skills, developing business cases, and compelling value propositions;
- Experience in a customer-facing role;
