Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (Hunter Role) with a results-oriented mindset to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth. This full-time, remote role will focus on expanding our footprint among telecommunications, wireless, and IoT manufacturers across India and Southeast Asia. This position offers opportunities for cross-selling iCertifi’s comprehensive suite of services and developing strong, ongoing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business from mid- to large-sized companies within the telecommunications, wireless, and IoT sectors, targeting manufacturers, importers, and distributors
- Cross-sell iCertifi’s full suite of compliance services to both new and existing clients, providing comprehensive client support and fostering revenue growth
- Meet and exceed defined quarterly sales targets and new client acquisition goals, with flexibility to adapt strategies as needed
- Represent iCertifi at industry events and meetings, occasionally traveling to meet clients and attend networking events
- Maintain accurate sales activity records in our CRM and sales enablement tools, ensuring efficient tracking and follow-up
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of outbound sales experience, preferably within the wireless, telecom, or IoT sectors
- Background in the TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) or Conformity Assessment industry is highly preferred
- Proven ability to work independently with high self-motivation and discipline in a remote setting
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent; postgraduate qualifications are a plus
Preferred Skills
- Lead generation, prospecting, and cold-calling experience within international markets
- Experience in telecom sales, lead qualification, and knowledge of wireless technologies
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement tools for effective lead management
