The Role
We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth in the ANZ region. This is a stand-alone role, reporting directly to our VP of Sales. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing a strategic approach to win new business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and ultimately bringing in new business opportunities that align with our business objectives. This role requires exceptional negotiation abilities and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target new business opportunities across the ANZ region.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with prospective clients.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on sustainable growth.
- Work closely with the VP of Sales to align efforts with organizational goals.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Drive the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
- Lead by example, achieving personal sales targets whilst building and scaling a sales team as needed over time.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance lead generation and build a strong deal pipeline
What We’re Looking For
We need a hunter – someone who’s driven to go out and create opportunities, not wait for them to come in. We’re looking for a sales professional who:
- Has a proven track record in relationship-based sales (not transactional selling).
- Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Is proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- Has experience in business development within the BPO or staffing industry (preferred but not essential).
- Understands the ANZ market and can navigate it with confidence and expertise.
