About the role: 

Lumia Care is excited to invite multiple proactive and outcome-oriented Business Development Managers to drive our mission of expanding quality support and the company’s presence across Greater Sydney and in other regions of New South Wales. 

As part of our team based in Sydney, you’ll spearhead our efforts to grow our presence, identifying new opportunities and forging pivotal partnerships. This role is key to our strategic expansion and enhancing our service offerings.

 

Key Responsibilities are: 

  • Develop and execute a business development plan in collaboration with the Business Development Team, focusing on national expansion.
  • Lead the charge in market research, networking, and relationship building to uncover new business avenues.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies and community organizations.
  • Keep a pulse on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to strategise effectively.
  • Drive revenue growth, hitting and exceeding targets through new initiatives.
  • Champion our expansion into new markets and service lines, contributing to increased market share and partnership development.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for potential clients.
  • Craft proposals, engage in contract negotiations, and represent our company at industry events to elevate our brand presence.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • A history of success in business development, sales, or marketing roles.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and networking skills, combined with the ability to spot and seize new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to varied audiences.
  • A demonstrated ability to forge lasting relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Analytical prowess, leadership qualities, and a collaborative spirit are essential.
