Having seen substantial growth in the last three years, the next step in Quantaco’s evolution is to develop a National Sales Team to help expedite the global growth ambitions for the company.
About the role:
As a Business Development Manager at Quantaco, you will be responsible for acquiring new business and driving revenue growth. You will engage with potential clients across pubs, clubs and restaurants, showcasing the value of our solutions and closing deals. This role will be responsible for your region Melbourne/Victoria and requires a self-starter who can work independently while collaborating with colleagues across different locations.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Relationship Development: Leverage your proactive and determined approach to identify and engage with potential clients. Secure meetings and present our value proposition effectively, leveraging your strong customer-facing and presentation skills.
Sales Strategy: Develop and maintain strategic sales plans designed to exceed targets. Apply your understanding of complex sales cycles and experience with sales methodologies such as Solution-based, Value-based and Consultative to drive successful outcomes.
Client Engagement: Conduct technology demonstrations and discovery sessions to thoroughly understand client needs. Use your ability to manage and forecast sales opportunities to guide clients through the sales process from initiation to close.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of the sales cycle in our CRM system. Your technical proficiency and experience with CRM systems like HubSpot will ensure that all data is up-to-date and effectively managed.
Industry Events: Attend expos and industry events to meet prospects and secure deals.
Travel: Be prepared for travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and participate in team meetings.
Work: With office’s based in Sydney and Melbourne this role is hybrid. We value flexibility and understand the importance of work-life balance. While you’ll have the autonomy to manage your schedule, regular travel will be necessary to meet clients and attend events.
About you:
Your existing network within the hospitality industry or fintech SaaS sales and your ability to build new relationships will be crucial in expanding our client base. Your ability to adapt and thrive in different environments will be key to your success.
Experience: At least 3+ years of successful new business development experience, with a focus on selling sophisticated and/or technology solutions.
Proven Track Record: Of successful quota achievement preferably as a SaaS sales executive/BDM selling into the hospitality industry.
Network: Ideally, you have a current network of relationships within the hospitality industry.
Sales Skills: Curious and tenacious in identifying new opportunities, with a true hunter mentality. Strong understanding of managing complex B2B sales cycles from initiation to close.
Customer-Facing Skills: Strong presentation skills with the ability to establish credibility.
Negotiation Skills: Experience negotiating and navigating high value commercial deals.
Relationship Building: Ability to build strong personal relationships.
Technical Proficiency: High degree of proficiency with technology, with a proven track record of being able to demonstrate a range of technology solutions in a sales context.
Communication Skills: Superior verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
Education: BA preferred; or equivalent relevant work experience.
