As we expand our footprint, we are seeking a dynamic Regional Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives, build lasting partnerships, and drive brand presence through strategic collaboration and innovation.
Role Overview: As the Business Development manager for BAJIO Sunglasses, your primary responsibility is to identify and seize growth opportunities, strengthen relationships with key partners, and drive revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with the Vice President of sales and Sales Representatives to implement strategic initiatives that enhance market share, expand the brand’s footprint, and foster partnerships with retailers and distributors. This role emphasizes strategic thinking, relationship management, and innovative approaches to business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the region, including new account acquisition, partnership opportunities, and market expansion initiatives.
Partnership Development:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts, retailers, and distributors, aligning their goals with Bajío’s mission and driving mutual growth opportunities.
Market Analysis and Insights:
- Analyze market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and assess competitive activity to recommend strategies that capitalize on market shifts.
Account Optimization:
- Collaborate with existing accounts to identify opportunities for deeper engagement, increased product placement, and improved brand representation.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with the sales team to align regional strategies, provide support, and share insights that help drive individual and collective success.
Customer Engagement and Activation:
- Partner with marketing teams to design and execute localized campaigns, events, and promotions that resonate with target audiences and foster brand loyalty.
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including account growth, revenue trends, and market share increases, delivering actionable insights to the Vice President of Sales
Innovation and Problem Solving:
- Identify and implement creative solutions to overcome challenges and capitalize on opportunities that drive the region’s business objectives forward.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
· Proven experience in sales and territory development, with at least 5 years of collaborative leadership experience.
· Strong understanding of the Mid-Atlantic Region market dynamics and customer preferences.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization.
