Role Description
The Business Development Manager at Atrómitos plays a pivotal role in driving sustainable financial growth by expanding our client base and fostering lasting relationships. This position combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, developing and implementing an annual business development strategy that includes direct sales and competitive procurement opportunities. As a key collaborator with the Atrómitos team, the Business Development Manager ensures alignment with Atrómitos’ mission of creating healthier, more resilient, and equitable communities. Additionally, this role oversees the Proposal Coordinator, guiding the competitive procurement process from opportunity identification to post-submittal analysis.
Qualifications and Experience
- Deep expertise in market dynamics, business strategy, and client relationship management, with a required focus on the health and human services sectors.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and networking skills, focusing on building long-term partnerships, and project management, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and execute business strategies that align with company goals
- Proficiency in CRM software, market analysis tools, and business development platforms
- Individual drive, integrity, and self-motivationÂ
- 5+ years of experience in business development or a related field within health and human services
- Proven experience as a business development manager
- Proven ability to excel in a fully remote, flexible, multi-time-zone environment with minimal supervision.
- Successful in managing direct reports in a fully remote work environment that utilizes an open work schedule across multiple time zones
