About the Role:
As a Territory Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be to develop and manage the Greater Sydney sales territory. You will play a key role in increasing our clients direct market share within the acute and aged care spaces while managing customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Greater Sydney sales territory, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the acute care, aged care, and reseller markets.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets
- Focus on direct market growth and customer conversion to expand market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including facility managers, nurse unit managers, and retail store owners.
- Conduct product demonstrations
- Manage the full sales cycle
- Handle and transport medical equipment
- Work closely with internal support teams to manage administrative tasks, enabling you to focus on sales activities.
- Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager on sales progress, customer feedback, and market insights.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the healthcare or medical supplies industry.
- Ability to manage the physical demands of the role, including moving and demonstrating large, heavy medical equipment.
- A proactive approach to identifying and capitalising on sales opportunities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, from internal teams to senior-level clients.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to create and deliver compelling proposals and demonstrations.
