About the Role:

As a Territory Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be to develop and manage the Greater Sydney sales territory. You will play a key role in increasing our clients direct market share within the acute and aged care spaces while managing customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Greater Sydney sales territory, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the acute care, aged care, and reseller markets.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets
  • Focus on direct market growth and customer conversion to expand market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including facility managers, nurse unit managers, and retail store owners.
  • Conduct product demonstrations
  • Manage the full sales cycle
  • Handle and transport medical equipment
  • Work closely with internal support teams to manage administrative tasks, enabling you to focus on sales activities.
  • Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager on sales progress, customer feedback, and market insights.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the healthcare or medical supplies industry.
  • Ability to manage the physical demands of the role, including moving and demonstrating large, heavy medical equipment.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and capitalising on sales opportunities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, from internal teams to senior-level clients.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to create and deliver compelling proposals and demonstrations.
