Business Development Manager | Thomson Environmental Systems | Australia
Thomson Environmental Systems seeks a Business Development Manager to join our Perth-based team in a full-time hybrid role, offering flexibility for remote work. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting a range of innovative products and services in the environmental and scientific instrumentation sector.

Key duties & responsibilities:
- Strategic Growth: Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities across Western Australia.
- Solution Sales: Understanding client needs and provide tailored recommendations from TES’s comprehensive suite of environmental monitoring solutions
- Client Engagement: Strengthening client relationships through excellent account management and networking with a willingness to travel across WA
- Market Representation: Representing the company at industry events to promote products and services.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, to align strategies and achieve shared goals.
- Reporting & insights: Monitor market trends and provide feedback to support the development of new products and services
Experience & qualifications:Â
- Proven skills in Business Development, Sales, and Marketing ideally within environmental monitoring, industrial equipment, or technical solutions. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field will be highly regardedÂ
- Industry knowledge and familiarity with environmental monitoring equipment, compliance requirements, or related sectors will be highly regarded.
- Expertise in Client Relationship Management and Networking.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
