Description:

We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager, focusing on the retail and commercial flooring sector. This role requires someone with established contacts within the industry who can leverage these connections to open new accounts and drive sales of our damage protection policies. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and capable of working independently to achieve targets.

For the right candidate, there is an exciting opportunity to advance to the position of National Sales Director within 12 months. This promotion includes a share in the company and the responsibility to grow and lead the business development team, overseeing sales operations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Acquisition: Identify and open new accounts through existing connections and relationships in the retail and commercial flooring sector.
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to foster natural growth within new accounts.
  • Client Training: Work with accounts to train sales staff, ensuring they are equipped to effectively sell our damage protection policies.
  • Client Support: Provide ongoing support to your accounts, with additional assistance from head office as needed.
  • Local Business Engagement: Visit local businesses to present our product offerings, secure meetings, and sign businesses up onsite.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with the Director to expand and improve our product offerings based on client feedback.
  • Feedback Management: Actively listen to client feedback, addressing any questions or issues promptly and effectively.
