As we grew, we have incorporated bio-organic intelligence across all our production lines, securing full organic certifications for all our farms.

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand our market presence in supermarkets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in domestic sales, particularly within the food industry, and possess strong connections with supermarkets and distributors. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

About the role

We are currently searching for a Business Development Manager to be based in KL, your responsibilities include:

• Responsible for making a business plan and go-to-market strategy, with clear, time-bound milestones
• Distribution network building
• Ensuring local laws are adhered to
• Customer relationship management
• Documentation and reporting as per company norms
• Conducting SWOT analysis and assessing the market
• Identifying growth opportunities
• Experience in working with supermarkets
• Managing the import sales
• The responsibility to create and establish the YALA brand and market awareness
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia
• Attending exhibitions to represent YALA

Requirements

• Degree in Business Management or Marketing
• Minimum 10 years of experience on the related task
• Knowledgeable on the FMCG market
• Experience with import/export, wholesale and distribution
• Arabic (desirable but not essential)
• Experience with supermarkets
