The role will be a work from home position, with growth driving the potential needs of our Victorian business.

About the Role

Reporting to the Directors in Queensland, the role will be highly autonomous. For this reason, we are seeking a highly motivated technical salesperson to be the face of Tynic throughout Victoria.  The purpose of the role is to effectively support existing Tynic customers and to build on an already established target list of customers, hence ensuring long term sustainable growth.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Business Development – generating & identifying leads
  • Technical support | Engineering advice
  • Ability to effectively communicate features and benefits of engineering plastics, conveyor products and power transmission products
  • Providing exceptional sales support 
  • Ability to build and nurture professional working relationships
  • To educate and engage new & existing customers through visits, calls, training, supporting resources & presentations

About You – The Business Builder

To be successful, you will require the following experience & skills;

  • Previous technical sales experience within Victoria
  • Technical background in either Engineering Plastics, Conveyor Products, Power Transmission or Engineering is essential
  • Knowledge of Machining or Modular Conveyors would be an advantage
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Determination to achieve positive outcomes
  • A positive can do attitude
  • The ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and set & achieve goals in line with Tynic business objectives
  • Driver’s License and willingness to travel within regional areas to visit customers
